    Organizational Structure

     

    The Production Systems Manager reports directly to the EVP, Operations.

    Responsibilities

    • Upload men’s and women’s styles for each season as received from merchandising
    • Set up footwear and 3rd party style information manually for each season
    • Update style information as requested by merchandising i.e. change in sizing, style number, color name, season, wholesale, retail, EU etc.
    • Enter initial standard cost for men’s and women’s for warehouses (100, 034, 108)
    • Enter final cost for men’s, women’s footwear and 3rd party
    • Coordinate with customer service and sales for alignment of dates to start split shipment process of purchase orders
    • Create drop shipment chart for each division
    • Update purchase orders based on changes received
    • Partner with IT for any systems issues that might arise
    • Calculate size breakdowns by each style color based on the ATS for men’s and women’s during split process
    • Calculate balance to adjust PO after all the split accounts have been deducted
    • Manage and train PO Admin team
    • UPC creation prior to split shipments
    • Issue Redline Report
    • Issue updated style/content/care instruction report
    • Coordinating and providing documentations requested by auditors annually
    • Ensure SOX compliance is adhered to
    • Troubleshoot systems issues with IT, sales, and production
    • Work with planning and production to forecast seasonal freight savings for each fiscal quarter
    • Work with international sales team for adjustments or updates in international sizing/unit
    • Handle estimated 500 styles per season and 3600 PO’s issued per season

    Qualifications

    • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
    • Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in production systems experience
    • Ability to multi-task with great attention to detail
    • Must be organized and adaptable to assist in multiple projects at once
    • Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Must have the ability to work in/with cross-functional teams
    • Strong ability to work in a face-paced environment
    • Must feel comfortable being driven by deadlines with a high sense of urgency
    • Must proactively approach problem-solving
    • Must have ability to adapt quickly to changes
    • Strong proficiency in Excel and all Microsoft Office programs including Microsoft Outlook 
    • Microsoft Dynamics AX and other major ERP systems experience strongly preferred
