    Organizational structure:

     

    The Merchandise Assistant reports directly to the Associate Buyer, Women's 

    Responsibilities

    • Analyze weekly and historical sales performance to identify drivers of trends, misses, and opportunities; compile weekly best/worst seller reports for all categories
    • Own administrative aspects of business including weekly reporting, visual buys and store visit prep.
    • Assist Buying team in performing pre-market analyses; review historical performance at the category and style level; track all changes in buy sheets during and post market
    • Compile seasonal and visual documents for stores and other teams for SharePoint
    • Partner with e-commerce and creative teams to ensure product image accuracy and propose copy enhancements
    • Create and file Purchase orders, sales orders and transfer orders as needed; maintain accurate ship/cancel dates to ensure timely arrival for floor sets and emails; partner with teams to discuss any issues
    • Facilitate strong working relationships between corresponding Merchandising, Wholesale, E-commerce, Marketing, Creative and Store teams.

    Qualifications

    • 0- 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred
    • Degree in Merchandising preferred
    • Excellent MS office Skills, Advanced level Excel Skills
    • Strong understanding of retail math
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent customer service skills
    • Creative problem solver and self-starter
