    Position Description

    The PR Coordinator works directly with the Director of PR & Corporate Communications to create and maintain the positive public image of VINCE. This position will also work closely with the Marketing department to enhance the public perception of the Vince brand.


    Organizational Structure

    The PR Coordinator will report to the SR. PR Manager


    • Assist team in outreach to targeted editors and stylists to secure fashion and lifestyle coverage.
    • Proactively monitor media coverage across digital, print and social media platforms.
    • Create and maintain media lists for domestic and international markets.
    • Assist with planning, preparation and execution of all press events, including seasonal press previews, dinners and launch events.
    • Compile weekly, seasonal and event press recaps.
    • Work directly with Sr. PR Manager to create relevant pitches that correlate with editorial calendars, seasonal trends and relevant topics.
    • Assist in drafting and preparing press releases, media alerts and other press collateral.
    • Assist Sr. PR Manager in managing responsibilities of seasonal PR intern.
    • Manage all sample traffic activity for domestic, international and VIP requests. 
    • Establish and cultivate strong relationships with relevant media, including print and digital editors, celebrity stylists and key influencers.
    • Effectively build and maintain interdepartmental coordination and communication for various projects and tasks.
    • Perform general administrative duties including but not limited to filing, scanning, copying and packaging.


    • Must have Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR or a related major
    • Must have one to two (1-2) years of work experience in Communications or Public Relations
    • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have the ability to adhere to tight deadlines
    • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Must be highly perceptive and anticipate the needs of the department by taking initiative
    • Must have excellent problem-solving skills
    • Must be proficient with FashionGPS/Launchmetrics, MS Office, Cision, Dropbox, Fedex and social media platforms – Photoshop experience a plus
