    The Senior Accountant, DTC reports to the Accounting Supervisor



    Position Description:


    The Senior Accountant - DTC is responsible for maintaining timely, accurate financial records and performing financial analysis. The position will assume full ownership of balance sheet account reconciliations, financial closing activities and other analysis to support and execute our financial close process for our Retail and eCommerce channels. The candidate for the Senior Accountant- DTC role must have a clear understanding of accounting guidance and processes, specifically in a Retail environment.


    • Prepare and manage journal entries and account reconciliations for Retail and eCommerce Channels
    • Work closely with the Retail and eCommerce operations teams to analyze expenses for month-end accruals and budget-to-actual reviews
    • Review of accounting transactions for appropriate treatment
    • Reconcile company credit card receivable activity and balances
    • Calculate and manage commission, bonus, and clothing allowance programs for retail store employees
    • Provide overall financial support to senior management including preparation of various ad-hoc financial reports and special projects
    • Support various internal controls activities and the implementation of Sarbanes - Oxley 404 compliance requirements
    • Point of contact to support internal and external audits



    • Master’s Degree in Accounting required, CPA preferred
    • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience
    • Big 4 or regional public accounting experience preferred
    • Desire to make process improvements
    • Positive attitude, excited by new challenges and opportunities to make change
    • Ability to analyze data using Microsoft Excel
    • Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls policies and procedures
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Work effectively within the department and across departments
